Digital and Traditional art

         Welcome back. Today in this blog I'll be showing the different styles of digital art and traditional art. I'll also talk a little about which one artist lean more to. Let's get started. 

DIGITAL ART

        First, let's talk about digital art. This is art that is made digitally, like on a computer or tablet program. Lots of media artist use digital art because of our world today and that's mainly because people use the internet in their lives now. Most designs and videos you see are made by digital artist, but they all had to start off somewhere, right? anyways let's talk about the different styles you can do on digital.

COMPUTER GRAPHICS- Computer graphics is used for business advertisements and media. This art style can also be in 3D or 2D.

DIGITAL PAINTINGS- Digital paintings are a type of digital art that replicates traditional painting methods using the digital software and tools that's provided.

VECTOR ART- Vector graphics is a type of digital art that are composed of points, lines, curves, and shapes defined by mathematical formulas. Meaning you can change the images resolution without making it blurred.

PIXEL ART- Pixel art is a digital art form by creating an image by using pixels. 

3D MODELING- 3D modeling is the prosses of creating a three-dimensional digital representation of an object or a surface using specialized software.

PHOTO MANIPULATION- Photo manipulation is the process of altering or modifying a photo using tools on a software. 

CONCEPT ART- Concept art is form of visual art used to convey ideas and designs for media like films, video games, and animations before they are finished with the final product.

ILLISTRATION- Illustration is a visualization that is made by are artist to explain information. 

ANIMATION- Animation is the art of bringing a character or object to life by drawing individual frames over and over again.  

FRACTAL ART- Fractal art is a form of digital art that uses mathematical algorithms to create complex patterns.

DATA-MOSHING- Data-moshing is a digital technique that disrupts video compression to create glitches and unexpected effects. 

        There are a bunch more that are you are capable to do on digital, but all these types of styles use lots of practice with, especially if you are new to using a digital tool. 


TRADITIONAL ART

        Now, let's talk about traditional art. Traditional art is made on paper or on canvases. Back when there was no such thing as internet or the web, artist used paper and pencils to create art. But that material doesn't just stop there. There are lots of other materials they used if they were able to get them. Now a days, we have stores full of different art equipment. traditional art is the base of most artists and there are so many styles to traditional art.

ABSTRACT ART- Abstract art emphasizes shapes, colors, and forms rather than realistically depictions. 

IMPRESSIONISM- Impressionism is the focus on capturing light and its changing qualities. 

CUBISM- Cubism breaks subjects into geometric shapes and presents them in multiple perspectives withing a single artwork.

SURREALISM- Surrealism aims to explore the unconscious mind, dreams, and the irrational, often resulting in illogical or dreamlike scenarios.

ART NOUVEAU- Art nouveau is characterized by its intricate, flowing designs inspired by natural forms.

EXPRESSIONISM- Expressionism is the style that focuses on conveying emotional experiences rather than physical reality, usually used by distortion or vivid colors.

POP ART- Pop art is characterized by is focus on popular culture and its mass media, using imagery from advertising, comic books, and everyday objects.

FOLK ART- Folk art effects the traditions and cultural heritage of specific communities, often incorporates local materials and techniques, showcasing the everyday lives and stories of people. 

        Again, like digital art styles, there are lots of other styles in traditional art. Just depends on what your good at and if your capable to get the materials to get materials for your work. 


CONCLUSION

        Both digital and traditional art is similar in some ways but if you are wanting a better explanation of the two then here is a pros and cons. Lots of artist lean towards digital art now a days but still use traditional art to start a art piece. It all depends on how you perceive art and make it your own.
